Seems like 99% improvements are made to the editor. The only new programming feature I found is "Create objects using a string of their name instead of having to pick a specific object".

Also, there are many highly popular plugins for C2, I don't understand why not implement some of them as standard features and behaviors in C3?

The only really useful thing (for me) which C3 has and C2 doesn't is the mobile app building service. I wish Scirra would make it available to people who own C2 license...
I agree. Aside from a few "bell and whistles" and minor ease-of-use features in the editor, I see nothing that you can add to a final game that can't be done in C2. Through plugins, you can currently add a lot more functionality to a C2 game than you can with a C3 game. But, hey, you can now make a game on your iPad because that's what all the "pros" do. whoopty-doo...
It also appears that some of the currently popular plugin's authors are disinterested and have no plans to port their plugins to C3. That's disappointing. Maybe they might change their mind sometime down the road, but not guaranteed.
Yes, I would've loved if the app building service they offer was for C2 as well, without having to pay the full C3 subscription price. Hell, I wouldn't even mind paying a smaller fee for that service.
