  • Hello, how can paint like tiles without using a tilemap object or a sprite object?, i believe this would consume too many resources for a mobile game.

    So, I think you could do if there is a way to paste an image to another image, without use a sprite object for this.

    I mean it would be better to use the typical action of "paste" used in any image editor.

    But I think that does not exist in construct.

    I'm wrong?.

    How could then paint the tiles without any object type?.

    I see you have done some testing with Galaxy but ... we are referring to the same mistake ?.

    In my case there are strange behaviors, transitions are not displayed even use "wait 0.5".

  • Ok, I've been testing and, apparently, this only happens when a password for the site is used, then I think it's bitballoon error.

    I always use passwords on my tests so I did not realized that the mistake was due to it.

  • Hello, not if it has discussed this but I happens when upload a game to bitballoon, It happens that the game does not load, I can see the bar but not move.

    You need to load the page several times but still it is frustrating because sometimes not working.

    Not so with arcade Scirra, there always load without failure.

    I use bitballoon to preview my games and the last version of Chrome.

    Does anyone know why not load the games ?.

  • Yep that's just the way the tilemap editor works unfortunately. But no you don't need an import plugin. You might need to expand the tilemap editor window but there is a button to import tmx right into the tilemap you are working on.

  • You may be some confusion with my English, sorry, I try to do the best I can.

    The problem is that, for example, if I start to create a map in the lower right corner and later need to enlarge it to the left, then the tiles are moved when I add space to the left.

    Tiled has the characteristic that when resize the map, lets you keep focused.

  • Know tiled but then have to import a TMX file using a plugin, if I'm right.

    What happens is that not quite understand the operation of this plugin, maybe later ask the author of the plugin.

    The plugin which I refer is rex.tmx_importerV2.

    For now I will continue moving forward with the first tip.
