As I know, LocalStorage is different for each webpage. So if you have one game on http://www.example.com/Game1, you won't be able to access this storage from another game on http://www.example.com/Game2.

The only problem may be when previewing, since you are always previewing on the same page.

At first I thought when the character jumped she left behind a sort of trail and it looked neat. Now I recognize it's from the boss' bombs. But it'd be neat if there was some jumping effect that follows the character, like how it looks in the gif.

Just to clarify, all games seem to use the same storage - so I have to use different names for items or otherwise I'll be looking up the data from different games?

Also if I clear storage, I'm wiping out everything from my other games in development?

I think you need to have a keyboard input for menus - it's annoying after using the keyboard to play the game to have to reach for the mouse to click on the screen.

When you save stuff you have to name it. You can just put a string inside the name. Something like "Save_File_" & username

I've made a profile system where I used a number instead to differentiate a number of save slots in this way.

Really interesting theme! It'd be interesting if the point of play is to get to some point where you can get employment (with no references or contacts!) and rent a house - what would be brutal is the player has to get a certain number of materials for this and...it's random whether you get the job and rental. If the random roll fails, then the player has won the game but the homeless person stays homeless. Makes for a bitter ending (and potential replay value)

You could just have separate text boxes for the number and use some math to break up the bigger number into smaller pieces.

Yeah, I'm not familiar with fighting with my virus protection - it seems I found the right protection option to turn off temporarily. I kind of thought just choosing an exception and restoring that would...restore it.

I want to compile to an exe in windows and construct wants me to download a new thingie to do so.

Okay, I do so, but avast seems to eat NW.exe. On avasts pop up I say no, put it on exclusions. It still doesn't put it back. I tell it to restore. It...doesn't do so.

Anyone else had this problem? I really just want to make an exe...

I'm in insert new object, but I'm not seeing it in there, even with search. Could have sworn I saw it before, but I updated recently - maybe something changed? I'm basically looking toward programming in the uploading of scores.

Edit: My bad - I added the scirra arcade ages back when I started programming the project but didn't do anything with it back then. I'm more used to typed program languages where obviously a typed command doesn't disappear from those available so it wasn't an angle I thought of. Also it was off the radar since you can't choose it except as an action.
