  • I made a infinite runner once. I had a lot of work to create the level generation.

If you send me the capx maybe I can take a look.

  • Are you sure you are previewing the project at 100% scale?

  • Did you take a look at the infinite runner example that comes with Construct 2?

  • OOh, so that's the reason... <img src="smileys/smiley5.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • My game is crashing when I call Browser > Close in fullscreen when running the .EXE.

  • It would be nice if we could just change the image matrix. I used to make infinite scrolling backgrounds in Flash like that.

  • I never win... but I did my part of the deal.

  • Is there a way to change the default layout size so I dont have to resize it every time I create a new one? I know I can duplicate an existing one, but it would be better if I could create an empty layout with custom size.

  • What if the WebGL is turned OFF? Is there a way to avoid the antialiasing?

Even if the Sampling is set to Point the sprites get smoothy.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

  • You should create all the events on separate event sheets, and then include them in the main level

Yep, that?s the solution I had in mind, I justwanted to make things more easy.

    Thanks anyway, dude.

    Great answer! <img src="smileys/smiley32.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • Hi, everyone!

Im working on a platform/puzzle game with multiple levels. Theres a bunch of enemies with diferent behaviors. Its my first Construct 2 project and theres some issues Id like to discuss.

I was planning to make a new Layout for each level. But since some enemies have special Events, I was wondering if theres a way to set a Event Sheet for a Sprite? So that everytime that object is placed its event sheet is included?

I just want to find the easiest way to edit the levels. It would be nice if the game designer had to simply pick up the Sprite from the project tab and place it on the Layout.

If anyone have a better idea to make level editing easy please let me know.
