ok sorry my point was a question as I had looked up images and memory but did not look up deleting images. I can delete this post or maybe tis easier for you to.
Hi,
My project appeared to be have a heavy download size so I experimented with deleting images and cut it down to the bare minimum but it was still high. I then found that although I had deleted sprite objects from the layouts they were still held in the project object list and had to be deleted from there as well.
Derr! Do you know I couldnt for the life of me find this yesterday, thanks x
I can't see a way to edit a tutorial I wrote, is it possible?
ok I confess: for google drive, I was not looking at the right tutorial and I was not sharing properly. So my bad, as they say. I was not ammending the URL properly to share the folder, now it works on google drive.
Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.
what about google drive because yesterday I tried it there and had the same result?
I have a public folder, or maybe I just made myself a folder and called it public, I cant really remember now.
yeah mine is in the public folder the link was for the html file. However, the icon for the HTML file is not the same as usual it is looking like a page with a squiggle on it.
And yes Chrome does seem to be the easiest way to get started with apps and you have to make sure you choose Box 2D web as your physics engine on the drop down list in project properties. Phew!
I got mine working too but to a novice it was not self evident how to change the physics engine, ie that you go to the 'properties' list at the side of your project in Constuct2 and go down the list to where it says 'physics engine' and you have to click on that and choose 'box 2d web'.

Hi
can someone tell me please. If I can test my project, ie preview it in my chrome browser and it all works ok; why is it that when I upload it to google drive, or dropbox I get the screen that html 5 is not supported by my browser. I even downloaded something extra that said it enabled html for the browser but it made no difference.
