Oh wow thanks! very usefull. I added a few more of the NPC's to the stage, so it felt more like a race but obviously they all follow the same route and same speed, is there any way to add more randomness to this?

I want to make a little racing game, And i want to include AI for the opponents. Now im sure there is a limit to what construct can do in terms of AI but can i get the AI to follow way way-points set out by me?

I looked at the example file for the space blast game, and thats the start of what i mean i guess but im not sure thats exactly what i need.

Any advice?

Hi im scott, im 17. Im a flash programmer, but I follow a blog made by a great man called Emanuele Feronato. And he wrote a post on construct 2. So i thought i would give it a try.

I have a little game which i want to have multiple levels on. So at the end of each level how can i save the data so when the player comes on the game again they can resume the game from that level?

Here is what i have so far:

on the game's level sheet, i have a on end layout event setting a local key to 1. and on level two i would do the same but set the key to 2..

Is this the right way to do things? if so how do i then take that shared object and unlock the right levels for the user?

Im trying to learn to do some cool things with construct but everywhere i look for tutorial files ect there allways .cap which my version of construct(r69) wont recognise. Is there a way around this?
