Im planning on buying the paid version, but i want to get to grips with the engine first. I understand that you cannot use the free version for commercial purposes, but does that mean that i can make a facebook game with the free version and publish it as long as there is no money being generated from it?

If you do not generate income from it in any way - and that might include if you receive any ad money on the page it is displayed, I'm not sure - you do not need a license.

Cow Trix is basically right, feel free to use the free edition but you can't make any money from it which includes for example a google ads banner etc.

(I forgot my PW so i made a new account)Thank you both, I am intending on buying the full version, i just wanted to play with the free one for a little while.I Am not intending on making money from the free version, but i did want to publish a game onto facebook(without ads) So thanks again for clarifying my situation.
