I am refreshing my skills with Construct and decided to do the platform tutorial. I imported the tile map and clicked back on Layout1 tab at the top of the view area and lost the Tilemap tab that sits below the Layers window on the right. How can I get that back please? Thank you!

I am following an older Construct 2 video series and I decided to tackle it to learn a bit more problem solving skills. But posting here I am showing I'm truly stuck.

I know there has to be a better way to do this.

Object: To get spikes to fall from off screen in a random pattern. My current event is not working.

Problem: On start the player object appears about 3/4 of the way up the left side of the play area and falls, however, when I created the position for the player its sitting in the middle on the bottom.

Do you need to use Construct 2 if you purchase templates from the store or can you use Construct 3? Thank you!

Thank you guys at Scirra for working on a download version as well, I also like to have a program on my computer and I see the real advantages to having Construct in the browser as well, especially for teaching on different platforms. But call me old fashion :) I like having the downloaded version.

I did do some searching trying to find the answer to this question. How do I install the free asset pack that you get Construct 2?

I looked in the manual and found drag and drop for the newer items and putting items in the Construct 2 file, but looking at the file it was not clear where to drop the sounds, images etc so I felt I should ask.

When clicking to download Construct 2 its going to a blank redirect page. I do not use Torret so need the Windows version. Thank you.
