  • Hmm... Yeah my current project is saved as a project folder, but I also got the error upon first starting C3 this morning. Maybe the problem is having my project folder in the "Recent Files" like you suggested. Also, Construct 3 and my project seem to work just fine using the web version of C3. The "app" version is what is giving me the problem, which is my preferred way to work in Construct.

  • I'm having the same exact issue on startup. Everything worked fine last night, then I started it up this morning, got the r278 update update, then the error message at the top of the screen, same as Jase00.

  • I’m no Construct Pro, but the first thing you should probably check are the origin points for both the invisible box and the character sprite.

    If you double click on the box, click on the “image points” tag, right click on the “origin” image point and set it to “bottom”. Do the same for the character sprite if it’s not already set that way
