How do I spawn an object, randomly picked from my 10 different sprites. Is there a simple tutorial for this.

I see in the manual that I can use 'FAMILY' which requires a C2 license. Is there a long way to do this as I am not yet sure that C2 is right for me or if I have the ability to learn this program.

I want to make the speed of a sprite object adjustable at the beginning of my game.

I have looked for a tutorial and posts on 'making a settings menu' but have not found anything.

Hi, I am making my first game with Construct 2 and the preview works fine using the mouse. When I try to use a touch screen device the preview does not respond to the touch.

All other aspects of the construct 2 program respond well to the touch device.

The device is a Touch Screen Overlay mounted onto an HD TV, connected to my Windows 8 PC via HDMI and USB cables.

I have tried running games from the Scirra Arcade using this device and touch works fine, it is only the preview (Run Layout) within Construct 2 that does not respond to this Touch Screen Overlay.

To my game I have added the touch object and 'use mouse input is YES'. Could there be a setting that needs tweaking or a Plugin that I need.
