Naked Snake/Big Boss from Metal Gear. Mostly because I love his storyline. Snake Eater still is my favourite game!

Those two introductory tutorials are great. Also, if you snoop around YouTube, you'll find multiple people have made videos of doing the tutorials. Watching the videos if you get stuck helps a lot.

Thanks for the advice! I've managed to work through the first introductory tutorial and was pleasantly surprised at how straightforward it was. So far, I'm liking this software a lot.

Bit of an odd question for you. Currently, I don't have any assets, aside from music. Just an idea in the form of a short story I wrote a while back. The idea is for it to be a top down shooter. I'm fairly certain I could find some open source sprites and such for it as well if that would interest you?
