  • Ashley - just some thoughts, if you do a ftb render of everything , without btf render, (ignoring any problems with that) and with the culling , does it then makes it faster, and is there a speed difference in btf and ftb without culling, can you test the amount of fillrate change?

    putting a couple of big rotating squares on each other should be a good test , did you test on a gpu limited pc

    well i do hope this gets somewhat of a succes, if not now maybe on reviewing

  • working on this for a while, the plan is to offer the different images as assets, and maybe also the composition elements, no eta just yet

    topview with clouding, land texture , different spaceviews..., this is an earthstyle,( i can make complete predesigned maps or random looking) but i hope to then make different kind of worlds available,

    let me know if you like it or got suggestions!

  • how does it know there is a new version ? does it check all files date? I'm just saying ive had times where i just changed something small, could be just a sprite or something or change some event, and it keep loading the old one from the cache no matter what i did, only solution was to delete the appcache, but then you loose caching for returning visitors

  • Anyone seen ashley talk about this in classic section? a new rendermode, im dying to know how exactly it will work and what are the limitations
