Odd, did you get slow scrolling in C2 editor? if is, it must update your video driver.
If it doesn't work, maybe you should format your PC with clean installantion of windows and try again.
If doesn't work too, it must be hardware problem.
I've read all your posts, so i guess the conclussion is C2 has no way to pick instances from another layout, it was impossible.
So the workaround to create objects with manual values, it could work and repeat events.
