  • My little Pony is awesome! The most awesome thing about My Little Pony is the youtube videos that make fun of it like Pony Craft 2. It has scenes from friendship is magic with voices from Star Craft 2...Epic.

  • Mostly game related things: playing games, making games and applications. other then that I draw, read fan fiction and books, watch TV, watch movies, serf the net etc.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

  • I've been thinking about this for some time, my idea is that small indie developers can be in a single group to help each other get more visiters, talk about their ideas and such.

    To join you must:

    > Have a website

    > must be software related (games, applications)

    > Put a Indie Developer's Guild logo on your homepage (I'm going to make the logo if I get

    enough replies.

That would be all. (tell me if there should be more to it)

    Rules

    > On some page (exp: Links) you must put links to every site in the Guild

    > If the sites permit it, you must join it.

Although this won't be a rule your encouraged to try out other's games and give them feed back.

This might just be me, but I think this is a pretty good idea, I would apprecaite other people's opionons (I CAN NOT SPELL! ) on this. If you like the idea but you think it's needs some work be sure to tell me what needs fixing.

  • I'm so glad

  • Althought I've been on a few weeks now, I thought it would be good if I introduced by myself. My name is Adam Covington, I'm 14, soon to be 15 on May 26th. I run my own indie "studio" (my room and laptop) Almost Insane Software. I didn't call it Almost Insane Games because I also make applications. I've always had trouble getting people's attention but I hope some people will join my forums on my website which is in my sig. So far this has been a good community, better then Gamedev.net

  • Make sure to join my site, just log on to any of the avaible of options and you will automatically be joined on the site.

  • Well you have a point I'll get an admin to move the thread.

  • Well thanks for that thoughtful insight sir but I would think this would be my creations because I said I'm making some ATARI 2600 games so wouldn't this count?

  • The Atari 2600 had one of the longest lifespans of any game system, even though I've played Atari simulators like the Atari Flashback for the ps2 and owned a Atari Flashback 2 I've never experienced the homebrew Atari Games until I found something. The Stella Atari Emulator. I have a link to it on my website in the applications section. (I haven't had time to publish the changes I've made, but I will when I get home). Anyway I put it on there because I am interested in making Homebrew ATARI 2600 games. I downloaded the Visual Batari BASIC program which is made to make ATARI 2600 games, I'm doing this mainly because I need to learn some programming and because it would be fun. What are you guy's thoughts on this?

  • I was meaning to ask an admin if they could delete this thread.

  • Ok I'm sorry for this but I have competely changed my website because WEBSTARTS only gave me 5 pages and 10mb which is a BIG NO-No in my book thank google that I found YOLA because it gives me +1000 mb and I think like 100+ pages. ALthough it's free you won't find any cool website designs unless you go preimum. That's not realy a big deal but one thing WEBSTARTS beats YOLA at is the drag and drop design. Because on Webstarts you can put something Anywhere while in Yola the things you can place are on a grid type thing. Anyway my new address is http://almostinsanesoftware.yolasite.com/

  • In an attempt to save lots of space and keep my thread count down some, I've decicded to make a thread for all my projects: applications and games.

    2011 Q2 Projects

    ----------------------------------------------

    > Down-Fall (PC game/ Paid for/ mainproject)

A 2d-topdown shooter. The game is my main project and the one I want to make the most

out of my current projects. I plan to include unlockables via a simple code system and when

I say unlockables I mean wallpapers, songs, character skins, new scenarios, new onslaught

maps, new time-attack maps mabye a mini game. At first the game will have 6 scenarios

with 10 chapters each. 3 onslaught maps, and 3 time-attack maps.

    > Armies of the Night (PC game/ Free-ware/ Secondary project)

A 2d brawler (beat-em-up) like Streets of Rage. It will only have 5 stages but I'm trying to

make the stages long, they will be split up into sections. The game will be like a coin-op as

in it will have a time limit (every kill gives you +5 seconds) credits (10000 poimts=1 credit)

I realy want to have trackable online scores and online 2p but I'll deal with a long list of

scores for people to beat and try to have offline 2player.

    > NGP Guide (PSP application/ free-ware/ secondary object)

A simple application, kinda like a magazine. It will be the NGP's (next generation portable)

    encyclopedia.
