Woul it be possible to create a seperate layout for the road? Using global variables you could adjust the layout just a little depending on where the player came from.

If your effect doesn't work there are two possibilities:

1 - you did it the wrong way (95% chance)

2 - The effect isn't supported (5% chance)

if the answer is 1, have another look at your event-sheet.

if the answer is 2, try to think of another way of achieving a similar effect.

If you can show us what you have made untill now, we can help you by showing you what you have to change to make it work, so you can learn from it.

The example you show doesn't contain random objects. It's the same object every time, only the position is random. And even that randomness isn't random, for there is always at least one hole.

You can make the turret look any way you want.

Just load another sprite.

You can make the sprites yourself in any paint or photo or vectorsoftware you like.

Couldn't you just give the coins a boolean variable collected. Set it to true when collected.

There are many ways to move a sprite. I don't know how your game is set up, so I don't know how to help.

What kind of behaviour do you use to move the player?

I don't know what you mean by falling game. And because falling is the same as moving down the question sounds strange.
