  • yes in fact all you said is correct, but the only thing is, the objects are created every 1s, maybe is that??

if the animations also change every 1s, it probably is..

If something else is happening it could be you have conflicting events (maybe old events you have forgotten to disable/remove?)

  • Like suggested before, using is overlapping at offset you could check what kind of wall it is before having actions applied..

I would think this is the easiest way to have different actions for different walls..

    • Did you set the frame "on created" ? ( that way it's a triggered event and should only happen once)
    • Did you remember to put the animationspeed to 0 in the animation properties? (if not the animation will just run from beginning to end)
    • Are you possibly creating the object over and over again? (that could make it seem like the animation changes)
  • Did you look at the endless runner and infinite jumper examples?

  • Set the animationspeed to 0

object on created - set frame to: Choose(0,1,2)

  • What would you use it for?

I guess what I'm asking is, what is the use of scaling the layout and couldn't it be done in a different way to get the effect you'd like..

  • Try Construct 3

  • There is no create layer event..

The layer should be added in the editor.

The layer can remain invisible untill needed, at which time you can use the system set layer visible event.

  • Well usually one uses the anchor behaviour to keep something on-screen..

Seems like you are trying to keep something off-screen..

It would seem far easier to have the anchored object invisible while offscreen and set to visible when needed on-screen..

Can't download the latest beta at the moment, so can't have a look, but that's my first thought..

  • I'm not sure what you mean by peer..?

Adding multiple animations should be relatively easy..

  • Have you put them on a layer without paralax?

    That should solve the lag..

Can you write me on skype please ?

Sorry, don't have access to Skype at this time..

  • Depends on how you have it set up..

Easiest way would probably be if both top and bottomsprites were animation-frames so you'd only have to check if the animationframe is the same..

Otherwise working with variables (either text or number) would be a way, or even a numbered variable compared to an animation-frame..

Too much is unclear on how you are setting this up, or how it is set up to give any clearer answer..

That being said, once it is clear, it will be easy-peasy..
