  • It will be Construct Classic only for this one. We'll see if C2 gets more plugins for the next comp.

I'll need the .exe and .cap to make sure there's only 1 layout.

I'll add these details to the main post.

  • Djordhan, I was joking about an avatar!!! jk

So if I understand, double negation, you weren't joking about the avatar ? Or you're joking you're joking you were joking about the avatar ?

  • .Thank's you gave me a Great idea for a local game here

Try to stay alive until the end of the challenge

  • Are you talking about Limbo (Hell) ?

In that case, yes, the theme can mean everything you want as long as its reflected in your game

  • Yeah that's what I meant by "where you shouldn't be" and "somewhat unhealthy".

When it comes to urban area, it can be qualified as a sniper playground like in Enemy At The Gates.

  • Good idea. Since I already posted a thread (shame on me ) I'll use it to check the interest in my idea. But I'll surely use the thunderdome for the next (if my One Buck thing doesn't work).

For people who might be interested, the One Buck Challenge will always have one single rule, which will be different each time (even if an old rule may come back later).

The theme will also change and it might be based on actual events or something. I always liked games with deeper meaning than just good old dirty plain fun.

Whoever succeed in amusing me, wins one of my precious dollar! Nah just kidding, there will be a voting process, as mentioned in the thread.

If you guys have any idea to make that comp more interesting just tell me, or start your own *%&% comp! Nah just kidding again..love you all.

  • There you go, added brief description.

  • For those who almost drown in their own creativity, for my first OBC, you're challenged to make a short game based on the "No man's land" theme. Any genre allowed. Construct Classic only for now.

Needed files: Provide a working .exe only. No source required.

Theme: "No man's land" refers to a place, zone or area where you shouldn't be. Usually, those places are somewhat unhealthy.. So the theme is not "A dangerous area" but your own interpretation of No man's land.

End: You have until June 19th 23:59 to submit. Vote will run until June 24th 23:59. (GMT)

After upload, make sure the download link works.

Rule: Made in a single layout.

    Prizes:

    -One Buck! (via PayPal)

  • How do you imagine a 2D game using AR ?

  • Try Construct 3

  • Haha loved it.

I played a game a couple of days ago which was similar but with penguins or something.. the cool thing was that the score board is actually in-game, each player's run is recorder then transposed as NPCs in the game (there must be a maximum like the 20 best run or something), and you race against them.

Everytime you launch the game it was probably looking at the last 20 best score, added 20 NPCs then applied the run stored in a database or something.

  • Hello constructor,

My name is Jordan (since Jordan is always used everywhere I came up with Djordhan which isn't used anywhere

Since then, I've been looking around to make some games I started with Duke Nukem 3D mod then began to learn 3D modeling.

I studied in 2D/3D Animation for videogames then found a job at Ubisoft as a game tester. I spent 5 years working at Ubisoft. During those years I learnt a lot about videogame development and I started to develop some myself. I used Blender for a while to make a Tank Simulator (you're alone in an empty water tank, its pitch black and there's nothing you can do about it). Pretty awesome I tell you.

Now that I found Construct. Well I know Construct.
