    R0j0 couldn't help you, because the first time you mentioned the word "resolution" was after his post :P Then I knew what you meant.

  • Construct 2 is more a 2d software. If you want a real 3d game, construct isn't for you. If you just want depth that fakes here and there 3dish effects like paralax mapping etc...then construct is more than fine.

  • I think that all is a big missunderstanding(if that word exist xD)

    If you click anywhere on the layout(not on objects), you see on the left side the layout properties. Changing Width/height values will affect the size of your game level. Clicking on properties below, will allow you to adjust the window-width/height values, which is the resolution.

    And one additional information:

    Width strg + mousewheel, you can zoom in/out.

  • Or you could use the tree crown sprite seperate and use horizontal skew on it^^

    edit: here an example with warp and skew. You have to tweak some numbers, but it doesn't looks too odd :P.

  • Yeah, you're absolutely right, I've read a post from tulamide yesterday or so. He gave someone advice about switching layout angle. Then I was curious and tried it out and the plasma object also dissappeared. For now, I trying to get a similar effect without plasma. But it's a shame, since plasma object is so cool for motion trails in slow motion :/

  • Seems, there is no solution for that right now. I just use camera roation in my current demo and wanted to use that cool blood effect via plasma.

    I won't bump again that thread, just a last try^^.

  • Is there a way to combine oppenheimers example with newts first one?

    I mean, there were 2 points the bolt was connected, both could be moved.

    Or isn't that possible with that technique?

  • Already tried the container object? If both are in one container, both should be destroyed.

    The other way is like you already discribed. If private variable 'hp' is 0, then destroy "object".
