  • Dave Hailwood,

lovely sir. the slot machine mechanic is a great idea. every little bit of polish adds to the overall experience of making a game fun.

  • Nice, but i would like to destroy the TV while shooting it.

lol...sick minds shoot alike. i was trying to kill that tv too...for a while.

  • mochakingup,

relax sir, i am saying the same thing that mineet is saying, your artwork is wonderful, i'm just saying it in a different way. which apparently, does not always translate effectively.

    darn my sarcastic, inverse compliments...lol.

  • Dave Hailwood,

i did not think of it that way. that is a good way of creating more 'tense' decisions about who to move...good stuff. it mainly happened to me when i was moving one primary hero, or only had one to move. sounds like you're on top of things. the 'stacking' ability would be very cool.

and yes, i look forward to star command as well. it reminds me of a classic game i played in my one year of college, when i should have been studying, which is probably why i only have one year of college...lol.

    galactic adventures... virtualapple.org/galacticadventuresdisk.html

    ah, the memories.

looking forward to seeing the 'finished' product sir.

  • ,

ah yes, the touch controls. i did not take that into consideration. that is the theme of the contest.

well then, if you space the pieces out enough, you can have a matrix of the controls appear around the piece that you touch/select, instead of having them off to the side. that way, no matter which piece you select, the controls are right there, intuitively surrounding the selected piece only.

and unused blocks is cruel and unusual punishment...lol.
