jump towards the spikes and use hourglass then go back to platform then jump the same way as before but right after you jump immediately use the hourglass

In the lvl2 zone forest theres a rock which is either random or in middle idk, the rock is bigger then the others with a big hole, hold left click on it and it takes you to a mine which spawns, rocks, coal and iron as well as spiders as an enemy which drops string
