  • Neat idea! Perhaps change the mouse pointer when over interactive objects to make it easier. Looks cool though. :)

  • It's annoying but you'll have to work around it like I've had to many times. Good luck. :)

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

  • It's a keyboard issue, I've had it plenty of times in other games. You'll find you can press two arrow keys but can't press Space or Alt, but you can press two arrow keys together and CRTL. See if that works.

  • .swf is on it's way out as html5 takes over so I very much doubt it, but you never know! :)

  • Brilliant! Just waiting for it to be downloadable now. :)

  • f I learn how to work in Game Maker, will this put me in a better position to get to grips with C2 later on? That is to say: are any skills transferable between one app and the other?

I use GM a lot and made some pretty good stuff but I'd have to say no, GM was script based, C2 is event driven, with GM you attached the actions to the actual object while in C2 all in one event sheet, if you're used to GML then it's going to take a while to get your head around an event driven game.

    That's what I think anyway. <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • Create a layer for your button and turn parallax scrolling off for that layer. :)

  • Do you know the text beforehand? If so, create the texts as sprites and use the pin behaviour to pin the relevant text to the relevant box.

  • ust out of curiosity what is construct 3 going to be?

    A long way away. <img src="smileys/smiley17.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • Nickydude!! Taking a break from TGC tools? <img src="smileys/smiley2.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

    Nice to see you here.

ickydude how did you add your game banner?

I did have some trouble but I did it like this, replacing the curled brackets () with square ones [].

  • I particularly like the fact that it's portable, gives me chance to have a play at work when it's a bit quiet! Excellent!

  • Perhaps an option when dragging multiple image as to whether you want them as separate sprites or multiple frames of one sprite?
