  • The only logic is that the attempts I made to use the plugin (cocoonjs) with the latest beta or stable have failed... only 168 seems to work...I think because ludei is trying (slowly it would seem) to get it fully working and stable before making sure it works with the latest build.... then I'm sure documentation will take quite some time after that.

  • As you hinted, its a nightmare to get started due to absolutely horrendously poor documentation from Ludei (I guess because the plug-in is not finished)...

    What you need to do (it would seem)

    1) Install C2 build 168

    2) download the plug-in from Ludei's blog and manually install by copying the contents of the plug-in folder into the coocoonjsads folder in the plug-ins folder, AND copy the cocoonjs_prelude.js file into the html5 folder.

    3) DON'T UPDATE C2

    4) You MUST set the cocoonjs plug-in in Spriter to EITHER google play OR game-center but NOT "automatically select based on platform"

  • You need an action that makes the player play a death animation etc once "health" is less or equal to zero... C2 wont automatically invent an entire death sequence for you.

  • Why would you see a response? You're just setting a variable, you need to make the players sprite react somehow, like play a getting hit animation etc.

  • play a die animation, and when the animation finishes, subtract 1 from some life global value and reset the layout....basically... but of course, it depends on the exact behavior you're after.

    To save you time, here's the important Info:

    Update! This wasn't working on IOS devices, so I needed to encode the text for the subject and body AND IOS DEMANDS AN EMAIL ADDRESS!!!, like so:

    mailto:contact@jumpanzi.com?subject=MYGAME%20score!&body=I%20just%20scored%20one%20POINT%20on%20MYGAME.%20Can%20you%20beat%20that%3F%20http%3A%2F%2Fwww.MYGAME.com

    I solved the mailto issue on safari IOS!!!!!!! The trick is to make sure to use browser/go to URL and NOT browser/open in new window specifically for mailto....for opening facebook or twitter pre-populated posts, you want to use browser/open in new window.

  • What I usually do is: every so many seconds+ random number(X) is less than Y, then spawn the enemy similarly to as you are doing above.

    Make sense?

    In your screenshot the function part is not visible, so I can't see what it's doing....

  • Sorry, I've got no experience with multiplayer support.. I was just trying to keep your thread active and maybe clarify your needs to encourage someone more knowledgeable to answer.

    The only think I can think of in my complete lack of knowledge of the subject is to actually have all your levels actually built in one frame, and then you could teleport your respective players to the different locations within the same frame to create the illusion that they are in different levels. Make sense?
