But pretty much, set your timer to 0 when you take your player back to a ride in the level.

You can already do it yourself.

Set the gravity to 0, and every tick add a force on your object.

The angle/direction of this force depends on what you want, and this is a way to apply gravity in the direction you want.

It requires a bit of math I guess, to transform the orientation into an angle for the force, but it is doable.

Also agreed with tewn, a repositery rather than a store.

I think there's more than one solution to your level, so that makes it possible to beat the score.

I will definetely won't display the karma, it's a legacy from an old version and it's more confusing than anything.

I like your scoring idea, starting from 1000 points.

Hopefuly it will make the score less confusing.

But that also mean you'll have to validate again your level before exporting it again once the new scoring system is up.

I'll definetely add more (progressive) levels.

For now, there's a big gap between the 9 first levels and the 2 last.

Working on the game now, I will post a new version later tonight or tomorrow.

Input bug appears to be fixed - Ashley found a fix to the input bug in chrome and chrome appeared to have found a fix around the same time (chrome 18 beta)
Help test the GamePad API - Ashley has began working on a mappings database for existing controllers/pad using beta versions of chrome and Firefox to run the tests. Be part of the future right now.
What to call the process of programming in Construct 2 - An interesting discussion displaying the different opinions and wording used to qualify "programming with C2" by the community itself.
Why HTML5 and the future of exporters - Community discussion around the concerns that some members ressent toward the HTML5 platform.
Tesitmonials do you have a few spare minutes - For marketing purposes, Scirra needs testimonials and ask the community for any kind contributor to the cause.
Rotary competition deadline extended 5th March - Due to several technical difficulties with the site and the released versions, Scirra has decided to push the time allowed for the Rotary competition. You still have a couple of days to submit your entry.

Also there's been quite a few new tutorials. The community is sharing more and more useful informations/tips/tricks and knowledge.

There have been also a great deal of new games uploaded in the Arcade and in the Your creations forum. Take the opportunity of this topic to post about the games you may have tried this past month and enjoyed a great deal. It will bring some welcomed exposure to the games and their authors.

Uncompressing your zip and opening the caproj raised a check failure that I ignored, and previewing the project launched JS assertion in my FF.

Last time I saw this, the person who was sharing the project had saved different projects under the same .caproj name in the same folder.

This is not really good practice.

As this is only a starting project, i'd recommand you to make a new project, and save as single file for a while (capx).

You can find more about it in the manual entry about saving and sharing projects and also have a look at the best practices for C2.

For now, start over from scratch, add a (little) sprite and set solid behavior to it.

It should stay in position and all should work well.

example capx (make sure to check the example capx in the folder C2\examples too)

I've just ran a test (using "On escape pressed" in a current project) and it worked in FF and Chrome.

There's possibly an issue either in your code or in your computer, but I don't believe there is a bug with the keyboard plugin, it's working as intended here and I believe Ashley hasn't been touching to it lately (no code modification to it).

I believe it was already good design using the int() cast previously.

In r80.2 though, Ash made it a requirement as now, webstorage is only considered as a string.

Before the type of webstorage was more "blurry".
