In Firefox, there is a Security option to 'Block dangerous and deceptive content' which sometimes categorises a download as dodgy (I unticked it a long time ago as I am capable of deciding for myself what is OK). It may be that or some other program blocking zip downloads - only thing I can think of.

If R0J0 has the time - or feels kindly - he could maybe provide a different link or a proper .c2addon which would make installation much easier for users, but obviously that would be up to him.

If you are referring to the first post by R0J0hound on page 1 of the canvas.zip dropbox link then it is still working for me - downloaded and unzipped fine.

I noticed the lock after updating to r243.

1 - When saving the project. (He has already created and with numerous previous saves)

2 - When exporting the project!

When starting the loading bar, construct 2 hangs, the loading bar is infinite and the software does not respond to any command!

The download link for the plugin does not seem to be working for me. Not sure if it's a dropbox issue or if there's an issue with the file but I would like to download this plugin if someone could assist me.

The dropbox download links are still working - I've just tested them both successfully.

I am a 14 year old trying to teach my self all of this stuff about game development. I would really like to be a developer when I get older, but there is one problem for me. The version of Construct 2 that allows me to export my games so others can play them is $130. Now if you can't see my problem here, I am not old enough to get a job and there is no way I could get that amount of money. Is there anyway I could get this version from help of you guys or maybe you could recommend a different program that is similar to this one. Any reply or help would be much appreciated and if I could somehow get this version I would share everything I make on this forum here for you to see and judge.

What you are basically asking for is an illegal copy of the program.

Even at 14, you should realize that it is not the right thing to do, especially on Scirra's own forum.
