This post is meaningless - more like spam.

    Why?

  • Users requesting help should be reminded of Tom's useful 'Tips for Posting' sticky, especially the first item:

[quote:2a6whz78]1. We want to help, but we're not here to make your game for you. It's best not to ask too much!

Some learning and development from the provided examples is always a good thing

If a user is still stuck after trying to get what they want then it's best to post what you have done for others to check - they may spot simple errors much quicker that way.

  • This may be resolved much quicker by providing a .capx for us to investigate, rather than relying on guesswork.

  • Please give users sufficient time to reply - an hour is not sufficient.

Please be aware that users who can generally help come from many different time zones so a response can take a while sometimes.

It is perfectly acceptable to 'bump' your own thread after 24 hours if no answer has been forthcoming.

    Thanks.

  • Have you emailed so Tom can check it for you?

  • I am employed at a company that makes educational games for schools. (well i am the only persona actually making the games)

I have finished the first game and am wondering if there is a way for the app to be supported by XP?

I understand Nw.Js stopped support for XP awhile ago but i am wondering is there a way to rollback to an older version of Nw.Js and exported through that so that the app is XP compatible.

    Thanks.

There is a forum post HERE with a suggestion.

Otherwise, I reckon you would need to investigate when support was removed from NW.js and rollback NWjs to a prior version. It is also likely that you would need to roll back C2 to an earlier version, which could obviously have quite an effect on your project.

  • What's a Sobakan game?

Let me Google that for you.

  • Thank you Blackhornet for your link.

On this moment I am using r27 which works normal again. However it is still the free very limited edition.

I had hoped that I also could enjoy the full version but it is fine using the free edition.

Ashley has an answer here that looks like it's for the same error.

  • I bought a Construct 2 license last summer. I starting building a game. I am about to come back to it. I realize Construct 3 is out now, but it's subscription based. I do not intend on switching to C3 as I don't pay to rent software out of principle.

Will I still be able to use Construct 2 like I did in the past and publish games with it? Or will it be deprecated and basically rendered useless? I need to know to see whether I go back to working on my game that I started, or switch to another platform that is not subscription based and start anew.

    Thanks.

    Ashley answers this here:

[quote:1ctcupfw]we are continuing to maintain Construct 2 for the foreseeable future.

    Wrong section.

This is the section for bug reports in Construct 2.

You need to follow the information HERE in order to report a bug in C3.

The link from R0J0 here is valid - I just tested it and it downloads fine.

  • Could you update the link to the plugin?

    StickMan9000

This is the last post from this plugin developer:https://www.scirra.com/forum/plugin-node-webkit_p940649?#p940649

[quote:w3kf6n5h]this is an old plugin, i advise you to use the official plugin provided with c2.

Why would you want such an old version when NW.js has been integrated into C2 for a very long time?

IF you still want it, then some user may have it in an old backup = the OP hasn't been on here for a while.
