It could be that the animation frames of your enemy sprite are not uniform size. If you run in debug you can see that when the collision marker is collided with and your sprite is animating, then it triggers the change of the 'IsLeft' instance variable more than once. Hence, it looks like a bug and not colliding, but it is working correctly.

If you look at Ashley's platform tutorial, you'll see he advocates using a uniform sized invisible dummy sprite that has the behaviors assigned to it, and the animations are just then pinned to it. That way, collisions should trigger exactly, and not get confused by the animations.

Are your animation images overly large or perhaps too numerous?

Very easy way is to: every tick, set an invisible sprite's position to mousex,mousey, and give the invisible sprite the scollto behavior.

This is very basic stuff,covered in the manual and the numerous excellent tutorials and built-in examples/templates.

If you don't understand, then post a .capx showing where you are stuck and we can make suggestions.

There is little anyone can do without the .capx, and your link is totally wrong.

You would need to have it stored on an external site, such as Dropbox, rather than localhost which refers to your own PC and is not accessable by anyone but you.

I'm on same FF so doubt if that's the issue.

What about GPU? What have you got and when was it updated? I'm using the latest Geforce WHQL drivers (not beta - beta sometimes bad!).

I must be very lucky as I've hardly ever had an issue with C2 - the odd freeze, but all programs/OS do that periodically.

Does going back a C2 build fix the problem? Maybe back to stable?

Maybe try a clean install - delete or move C2 folder after uninstalling, delete reg settings, reboot then reinstall.

Soz mate - can't think of anything else at the mo.

I've got the same OS and C2 build as you and I'm not encountering any problems previewing.

Has anything else on your system changed recently, i.e. what ver of FF are you on, plugins installed, etc....

Have you recently updated your OS or installed any programs?

Did you previously have no issues?
