Problem really was with the effect thing. In other PC, I added the Noise Effect to layout0, and then copied that layout to serve as a basis for the other ones. Problem is, in this PC, the effects are not listed there. I had to copy+paste the layout's content to other freshly made layout and the problem was gone.

Still, quite a nasty bug for it to be detecting and effect but not listing it.

If you really think you have a reproducible bug, then please post it in the Bugs section, ensuring to follow the Bug Report Requirements.

That way, Ashley can investigate and hopefully fix it for the benefit of all users.

A .capx is basically a zipped file format, so can usually be unzipped by most programs, such as Winzip, 7zip etc.

If your .capx is actually mangled, then look for the automatic saves and backup files in the same folder.

You should be able to just change the suffix of the latest to .capx and open it in C2.

You can no longer rely on the GraphicsCardUpdate.exe - it's not even installed in newer builds ( removed in r237 ). Go to the GPU manufacturer's website and actual check for an update to be certain of being up to date.

What is you system OS / GPU?

What version of C2 are you using? You should be using at least r239.

Is this error occurring with all .capx or just your own?

Yes, i made this work, just add images, but use the inputs doest work, for example: move object, rotate or resize with the touch or mouse. I don't know why...

Unless you give considerably more information, or preferably a .capx and the plugin so others can test, then the only help that can be offered is guesswork.

At the very least, show an image of your code. That way, some of the Javascript gurus on here may spot something.

The tutorial so far has been just fine. I am having trouble, however, keeping the player from walking off of the window even though I have given him the behaviour bound to layout, bound to edge. Another issue I am having is that even though I set the player at every tick set angle toward(mouse.x,mouse.Y) my mouse does nothing to the player unless I left click at which point he fires a bullet. The mouse, however, will not move the player at all.

Your best bet at a resolution is to post your .cap. This will allow others to see what you have done and hopefully determine what the problem is in your project.

Obviously, this being the - now retired Construct Classic section - there will be far fewer users who visit and so help may not be as quick.
