  • Hmm so you're saying the Hero Movement Event works alright, but the only prob would be found in the mousekeyboard? The only globals I think I have are the objects found in the Object Manager layout.

    Still, I'm a bit confused.

  • Basically, its a start of my rpg. The problem I'm pointing at is that if you put the "Object Manager" layout as the first layout to be loaded, the RTS movement (Hero Movement Event Sheet) thing works fine, but if you just leave it as it is, (Queenies Village as 5th layout), the Hero Movement Event Sheet doesnt seem to work. Maybe I'm missing something.

  • I'm currently confused on how to make HP/MP/Etc Bars similar to fighting games. Like for example, when an enemy hits the player, the HP bar will slowly resize to its designated point. In other words, if I have a bar at 100%, and an enemy hits me, which decreases my HP to 80%, the HP bar should slowly resize until the 100% bar arrives at 80%.

    Unlike in the platform school where HP is changed using different animation frames of the Heart Image, I'm not sure if I can use that principle in this one. Help anyone? Thanks in advance!

  • I'm having this Character Select Screen where there's 2 "notepad" containing the info of 2 chars that has opacity set to 10%. When I move my mouse over to one notepad, it should set its opacity to 100%. But its not happening....

    So what should I do? Heres my ummm .cap thing:

  • I tried searching for "joystick" in the forum and found out that they were talking about including it in the 0.99 versions of Construct or something but those topics where few months old.

    I have I think a standard pc controller from cd-r king which looks pretty similar from the PS1 controller. Does the current version of Construct support this kind of contraption? Cuz since I'm trying to make an RPG, might as well use a console type of controller. So yeah. Any help would be much appreciated.

  • Oh is that so? I see, well thanks. Now all I need to do is look for that tutorial you're talking about. BTW, how do I make an object global? I didnt even know that there was global and local objects omg.
