  • Using boxes that way is pretty standard in 3D btw.... it's called substractive space. Used in Quake. Now with boxes, of course, but with meshes. Brushes!

    After realization of the whole Z stuff, i'm thinking Chaotix bonus levels actually being possible to make now, though there's no wrap around for Z.

  • Did you extract all files into a folder? It has music and sound subfolders. I also use the MOD object for this.

    I wanted rotation for lerped and precise aiming.

  • RMXP sites are only having lots of traffic since the RPG Maker series are much older than Construct and had built cult popularity since the RPG2000 Don translation. The guidelines are there to keep the level of massive ambition vapor projects announced down (since many young users of RM think they can outdo final fantasy with it). Can't say it'd work the same for this forum.

    By the way, I can't attach screenshots. I don't want to rely on imageshack.

  • A problem with this is that Construct doesn't really scale down a game that has a greater resolution than the window. A 1920x1080 or even 1280x720 game gets clipped to 1024x768 on my 1024x768 desktop, even with the latter stretch-contents-to-fit option.

  • I was thinking a Star Control 2-ish melee like game would be a good community project where everyone makes a ship and it's dynamic (not fixed, pickable from a predefined fleet), support 2-4 simultaneous players.
