  • this is a great plugin i must admit. but i didn`t completely understand what the angle and the other offset works in x,y space. can you help with the offset system of your camera?

    and i couldn`t find a manual is there one?

  • ok solved. for other people having this issue :

    • at the start of layout add an action as :

    Xaudio2: Load resource "yourfile.wav" to channel 1 (loop)

    check if your object is moving or create a variable to control if it is moving in an event and add action :

    XAudio2: Play channel 1

    to stop the sound check if it has stopped and add an action as

    XAudio2 : Stop Channel 1

    Now it is time for me to create 30 ish channels for each sound i am going to use. Pretty (not) straight forward.

    I can autoplay it though. But still too much work for looping sounds and effects.

  • i have a looping sound. Character is breathing fastly while running.

    I want it to play while the character is moving but can`t stop looping.

    + (platform object) is walking

    ++ is on the ground

    +++ trigger once xaudio : autoplay resource "filename.wav" loop

    when i stop the character, and start to walk again it starts another sound in another channel. I couln`t find enough help on channel topics to stop the sound.

    so any help is appreciated.

  • ah i see. thanks a lot. i think i can get used to this new mesh thing. let me see how i can use this mesh as a platform now.

  • i have experience in 3d programs but the thing i didn`t understand is how can i export a mesh from..just say 3d Studio Max

    Is there any exporter for mesh format?

    Does construct gets UV texture mapping from mesh?

    So i have problems with the workflow in that direction. Any tutorials or documentation about it (3d meshes in construct)?

  • i have been trying to use 3dbox as platform .

    But with this new build the 3d box doesn`t render right.

    I have downloaded another project that includes 3dbox and it renders fine but when i add 3dbox to my project, the front face is invisible. The box faces look like flipped inwards. I tried resstarting everything but the problems stays the same.

    Any solutions?

  • Ok for some time i have been adding the arts and was thinking there is no limit until i hit the VRAM limit crash.I have managed to bypass the problem by removing some artworks and animation frames but i still can`t be sure when i am going to reach the limit again. So, what i have been searching is a vram (or any means to measure the usage of gpu) meter. I have installed the Nvidia Perf kit but i couldn`t manage to use it.

    So is there a way to debug/see it in construct?

    what i want is some kind of semi 3d platform for my character to rest on.

    as you can see my sprite is standing as his right foot on a 3d platform(3dbox). i manage to make the platform 3d and make him rest there beautifully but my problem is i can't make the platform with a tiled texture on it. so my only non-effective solution is make lots of 3dboxes or use a huge texture, which i can only get the same result by only making the texture tile on the 3dbox object -just like the background tile object-.

    Any idea how i can get this effect with or w/o 3dbox ?
