    Seems to be a bug.

    I tried . wav files which do work, BUT you need to have 2 in the binary resources (first will not work others will) I would make the first a .wav with no sound in it. Just something to take up space.

    (I'm also on vista )

  • Oh that reminds me of something I keep forgetting...

    When you zoom your game layers with ScrollX/ScrollY Rate 0 won't be displayed correctly anymore. With earlier versions of Construct it still worked properly.

    Excuse me if this problem was already stated somewhere else.

    Is the scroll rate set to 0%, and is the scroll X, Y position to 100%?

    I had this problem once, but that seems to have done the trick...

  • Thanks everyone, we plan on e-mailing the .cap, and doing prototyping or graphics during our "down time."

    Any word on whether or not it will be in the next major build?

  • I would like to suggest/recommend adding in a way to either merge or at least import CAP files into other CAP files. this would make it a lot easier when working in a team, to merge each others CAPs into a main project. Not exactly sure how that would work, but that's you guys job!

    Also, I think an "auto-crop" option for imported animations would be a god-send.

    instead of mindlessly going into each frame and hitting crop, a button could be added right next to the hot spot buttons...

  • Hey, I can't seem to copy sprites/layouts/event sheets from one .cap file to another.

    is it possible? I am about to start a project with a team and we need to work on separate parts, and merge them later. does anyone have a solution for this?

    it will be hard to work on this project if we have to keep passing around 1 .cap file ...

    ...so I went and looked, and it seems you can only make games for Xbox 360 with it.

    So... I won't be trying it out.

    Not true, you can also make windows games.

  • Hi, I just download construct, I had the beta once but it didn't work on vista.

    I was amazed to find that it is now open source!

    You guys may have very well made the best program in existence (seriously.)

    I have worked with a few game engines (MMF2 included) and have to say that this really shines.

    It has the graphical speed of torque 2D, but with the simplicity of...well, you know...

    Amazing work. I'm going to show this to the guys in my programming classes...
