  • Really impressive! This look far better that I thought!

    Just bought it

  • I use Timeline FX ( http://www.rigzsoft.co.uk/ )for most of my effects. Either as whole animated sprites or single frames to use in the particle object in C2.

  • Wow, this can become a really useful plugin

  • Wow! I've been a member for years, but never properly introduced myself.

So... I'm Tom, from Norway. Making graphics and trying to code (C2) is a lifesaver:)

  • 1) Dynamic Light/shadows.

    2) 3D objects ( I'm not asking for construct 3D).

    3) Tint the color of particles over time.

    4) An official split-screen plugin ( that supports effects/shaders).

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

  • I don't get why you're looking for a person who can code AND do the art. It would be much smarter (and take less time) to hire 2 freelancers (one coder and one artist).

  • Haven't looked at this contract, but I guess the contract gives the artist the persmission to use the elements in his portfolio and/or as promo material for his service. Your not able to resell it unless you create the elements under an no-exclusive license (doubt anyone would agree to something like that).

  • What is worse is the developers, artists and modellers duped into giving free work for him, and do not get paid. This is not funny. Some developers have worked for more than 6 months for free and terminated without payment nor royalties owed.

When they attempt to get money, they find a person who constantly keeps recruiting others into their project, no business operates at the address specified, no valid phone number. All there is, is a company that has no money, the owners do not pay to renew company license.

Never do profitshare if you value your time and skills (unless your doing it for fun).

Always get 10-25% of the sum upfront ( this also work as an cancelation fee)

Also, when somebody presents themself as an CEO but has no budget......run!!!

  • Wow! Spec-work AND profitshare!?

  • Fixed price is the most common option. But make sure that the number of included revisions is agreed upon before you start. That way you avoid potential conflict.

  • Having a "company" is fine. Branding is important. But avoid the temptation to call yourself CEO, especially when you try to "hire" a freelancer with a profit-share deal or credits (hard to pay rent with) <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />
