  • I know what font it is, because I am the master of fonts...

The standard logo on the website banner (If you use Czar Orange anyway) is Trebuchet MS, and the one in the logo that Ash and I both posted is, ummmm ... bolloks, I don't have it on this PC and I can't remember now. PSD file is on home laptop xD It looks kinda like Tw Cen MT, but not quite the same.

Oh well, semi master of fonts then!

    *EDIT*

Oh and, the "A" on the end is edited to look like that, unless he used a modified version of the same font...

    *DOUBLE EDIT*

SoldJah could you make it 1600x1200?

Yep, I sure can. I'll do that when I get home tonight since I fail at remembering to put things on my flash drive. I don't get home for like another 12 hours, but I will do it!

    *TRIPLE EDIT*

Wow doin' well today so far.... Dave, if you want my "fixed" cog then let me know, I redesigned it last night so the teeth were all closer to the same size lol I have it in PSD format and it's larger than any of the logos for the website so it will be easy to shrink/modify/whatever.

  • Well that Inverse Cog looks to me like...

    <img src="http://img513.imageshack.us/img513/7897/crazypacmanti2.png">

CRAZY PACMAN WITH 3 TEETHS TRYING TO EAT A ROCK WICH IS UNHAPPY ABOUT IT.

    That is all.

  • Not sure what resolution you wanted, so I took a guess and made one at 1024x768. If you want is a different size just let me know and I will adjust it properly.

  • That small tooth on the cog still looks funny

Someone needs to redo the logo for the site as well... someone... oh who will do it?

    ~Sol

  • Thanks!

I cant do a edit box for modify the radius and velocity. Anyone?

    Yeah that'd be cool

  • Nice example! Even my tiny brain can understand the math involved. Normally I get totally lost with anything that uses more than a "+" or "-" in it

  • well, then it's just talent...

So, I'll stay with my raw chars, or start trying, with gimp...

    tanks...

Cheers mate. I wish there was some easy way of doing it, or a magic button... but it just comes down to practice more than anything really. The only thing I can suggest is to make sure you have a clear idea of what you want to do before you get started. This will really help with redesigning existing content. Sometimes I will even make a drawing or rough sketch of what I want to do so I have a better picture in my head of how it's going to look.

  • Hey, I really liked the look you gave to angel... since I love kof...

I remembered that I tried some years ago, to do this kinda of edditing, but, i couldn't...

What plugins you use for photoshop?

Did you use any tutorial to learn this?

Thanks, but she is getting changed for a totally original and new character though. I didn't use any special plugins or anything, I just hand drew over each frame by hand... I didn't use a tutorial either, I just kind of... did it.

  • I noticed a lot of you guys have Photoshop, yet your uploaded images are HUGE! I pride myself on the fact that my image uploads are generally under 100kb, and even my sig with alpha channel is under 70kb.

When you save your image for upload, instead of going FILE > SAVE AS > JPEG, try FILE > SAVE FOR WEB > JPEG (Medium or High depending).

You can try a simple experiment to see what I mean, by loading up a blank canvas, squiggle some lines on it then do SAVE AS > JPEG and then again as SAVE FOR WEB > JPEG (high) and you should notice the difference in file size, yet the image quality should appear 99% the same.

Give it a go! No more 1Mb images PLEASE, I mean PLOX!
