  • nobuyuki: That's pretty cool. Certainly has its "cute" appeal.

vinny: That thing is wicked! We must see more of that.

Here's some work of my own. More at http://themightybmp.deviantart.com/

  • The standard Alt+Enter doesn't seem to work either.

  • The glitch fairy comes when you least expect it.

Rest assured, Slaughtersoft, that the devs are constantly improving Construct. Right now, it's very very early. Just save your work often to numerically increasing cap files to minimize loss while this and other major bugs are ironed out.

And don't worry about this becoming buried in the forums. Ashley sees all.

To be sure, though, submit the bug to the Sourceforge if there isn't already a report for it.

  • Nice! Can't wait to read it.

  • I see the confusion now. No, my connotation was a bit different for that. In future editions, perhaps it will be "Rate this chapter's difficulty" or something like that. Now that I think about it, if there was a problem in the article someone would comment, and I would edit accordingly.

  • Perhaps I should change the poll question in the future, then. After all, this edition wasn't certainly meant to wow any pros. As deadeye pointed out, perhaps some beginner would use this as a launch pad unto greater things.

At first, the "No" vote scared me that I might have given incorrect information in my post.

  • I agree with deadeye about the tree thing. Quick keyboard search option is really the way to go without having to upset the already decent balance.

  • Hey look, if somebody votes "no" in the above poll, at least give a reason. Is this guide incorrect? Is it too aimed at beginners? Or conversely, too hard to understand? Anything to help me better this is appreciated.

  • I've been using this little pet fan project as a learning experience. You can see my development journal in the Documentation Project board. However, my primary occupation is a graphic artist. Below is a small sample of art, all of which has been made from scratch specifically for the game. Most of it is painstakingly recreated from official cannon, and the ship design is as close to StarFox 64 as I can remember it.

    More is certainly to come.

  • Still, I like Attan's idea. It would be better too if the search was default to active, kinda like Vista's start menu. As soon as you open the dialog, start typing, arrow down once or twice if needed. Quick, and a good supplement to tabs.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

I assumed the default numerical value in the box meant numbers only. D'oh!
