  • Hey lovely community!

    I want to build a signature-tool where the user types in some data like name, phonenumber etc and the email adress. The tool should take one of the prebuild sigantures, dependet on the choosen email adress (i.e. infobur@xxx = xxx sigature, infobur@yyy = yyy signature), fill in the typed in data and export the signature as html file for the use with Thunderbird or whatever.

    Is this possible? And if so, do you have some ideas how to realise it? I know construct ist not really designed for things like that but this way would be waaaaay easier for me than to lern how to script this with pure html.

    Every idea is welcome, thaks in advance and stay excellent:)

  • Hi guys,

    I'm working on a turret defense game. I want the player to be able to drag&drop the walls between the rounds.

    My problem is, that once a path is set, the enemys wont change it and walk though the walls I moved into their way and ignore the new and shorter path.

    I would be very thankful for any tipps or maybe even a small example.

    I dont get this whole Array-Stuff. I know, i have to learn it somewhen, but so far I'm good without it. So I mixed your way and mine and the result is a perfect shuffle without any holes. Just as it meant to be:)

    Sure it's not Final. I still got to add music, backgrounds and a few levels, but the engine works and that was the hard part. You saved my weekend.

  • Thanks a lot, mate! There are so many functions i don't know yet. But thanks to you, I know a little bit more:)

    Btw: the holes are not as bad. I think they do a nice random Leveldesign-part and I'll keep them. Maybe add some pieces of 'ground' in the air to make different layouts.

    I'm very new on Construct, so this problem could be easy to solve....but I can't figure out how.

    If you start this damn Programm which made me lost lots of hair I'm pretty sure you'll see where the problem is. It's about the floating stones and about the disappearing stones. I think it has something to do with overlapping stones if the position at the start of the layout is the same. Sitting here since days, can't fix it, need help or start crying.....

    I got the objects A -Z with fixed positions. Now I want to spawn the objects 1 - 26 randomly at each of the A - Z positions at the start of my programm.

    The spawning works fine, also the positions are right. The only problem is the random function. It would be great if you guys could help me with this issue.

  • Hello you creative minds, artists and developers!

    First of all: I am a total beginner. So please excuse some stupid questions i will ask. Some day I will have learned enough to help other newbies, just like you are about to do (hopeflly).

    So i've created a simple Mahjong game to get a better understanding for construct. It only has one layer, so there are only the x- and y-coordinates. Everything works fine except the shuffle function. Every stone has an animation (the picture of one of the mahjong stones) depending on it's uid. My problem is, that i don't get how to change the order of this animations randomly every time I start the game.

    So, if there is anyone out there who can help me with this (i'm sure it is) silly problem, I would be very thankful.
