The reason each object is separate is so in the future it would be possible to give each 'limb' a physics property and have ragdoll physics when your character dies.

I think their size is fine. I really like the style, its good that you kept the explosions in the same style too - nicely coherent.
I prefer PSP for emulating, more options.
I'd like it so that people are not allowed to to use object bar, but would instead have to rely on the project bar's objects thing. Which means I do not want the object bar to exist!

the same thing happens when I have things on Z while scrolling, images will disappear early on the sides of the frame.

Is it possible to get an action that can reset all global variables to their intial value? this would be amazing, especially for games where you have so many values.
