  • Seems promising, I just hope they can get somewhere with it.

  • I figured out how to get the user's screen resolution with the system object (I think). Is there a way to get all the resolutions that their computer can do? Like to see if they're computer can handle 320 x 240 or 640 x 480 or 1400 x 600 etc. as a resolution.

Because you can see all resolutions your computer can handle in Windows XP when you go to properties -> settings (I think), just wondering if you can get all those possible resolutions with Construct.

  • Try Construct 3

  • Should make a page on the wiki for Construct 2. So this page and ideas aren't lost forever.

Clickteam are doing that for MMF3 and it seems to be a good place to put ideas.

it will create confusion for a lot of users moving over from C1.

I hope this won't happen a lot with other ideas, especially if it means improving the program. Just let the users use C1 if they hate change.

  • I think it's funny when people say "fake 3D". Billions of polygons or its not 3D lol.

  • Hopefully there's a better way. Swapping all the objects to different layers seems a bit tricky.

  • Instead of spending time looking, you could spend time trying!

  • I get an error as soon as I open that?

  • I was putting in tiny values - when I should have been putting in "200". For some reason when it said ratio values, I thought it would mean small values like 1.5 and 2. LOL

    Thanks for the help!

  • Maybe with command line then?

  • Is it possible to zoom in (x2) on a specific layer at runtime?

Do I have to use the layer "set zoom offset" action? I tried using that, but no matter what value I put in it it makes the layer 50% of the normal size.

  • With array pasting, what's the difference between the instance and duplicate option? They both seem the same to me. It would be handy if one of them were a "clone" instead.

  • Would be handy if the object bar would remember if you had it set to "small icons" and how it's being sorted "sort A-Z" etc.

At the moment you have to manually do these settings every time you open Construct.
