You don't need python scripting for the url, simply use the file object, execute file, then put the url in quotes.
CC is windows only, and there are no licencing costs.
Use &, not +.
The path mesh I think could be recreated using the ribbon plug in from CC and sprite distortion.
They haven't been implemented yet.
Blurring via a pixel shader is very gpu intensive. Definitely pre-render the blur in an image editing program if you're not going to dynamically change how much an object is blurred.
Yeah, that's basically what I meant. I guess I misunderstood, I thought it might be like setting globals where it doesn't matter what event sheet they're on.
Could the preload sound action have two options: 1, load at startup, and 2, load specifically when the action is called? Then sound loading could be hidden at the start of a level or something. It would give more flexibility.
It's been long proven on the internet that the vast majority of people won't install plugins. Even using flash for sound would be a better option because at least everyone would already have it, not that I think that route should be taken either.
