Fair enough, I guess it is a bit jargon-y... and don't forget integers are whole numbers and floats can have fractional parts (you had it the wrong way round).
So to clear it up, how about just "Convert to number"? Or "Convert value/text to float"?
Fixed the memory leak, it was to do with creating and destroying lots of text objects, make sure you get the next build!
Any PCM format should work.
How do you think it could be clearer? It's under "Convert" in the system expressions
Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.
Grid drawing is fixed in the next build. AFAIK, Center view on me still works fine...
Put a PCM .wav file in the same directory as your game, then "Autoplay file" with the filename should make it play. For example, upon any key pressed, autoplay play "myfile.wav".
Doppel's right, they're all already under 'Convert' in the system object (and convert to integer/float accept strings). Sometimes this is done automatically, for example you can assign "55" to an object's X co-ordinate.
I'm porting the wiki to MediaWiki, it's much nicer!
[quote:lqep9lgs]Is ' ' for a variable and " " a string or name?
That sounds about right. 'Single quotes' always refer to global or private variables. "Double quotes" refer to strings.
LOL deadeye, considering nobody got hurt, that's kinda hilarious
Noted, will be fixed next build.
There's some stuff like that in file - new - template.
