  • can agree, i use Catalyst Software Suite 14.12, amd driver.

    the gui gets very slow , after minimized, normal window state it works awhile.

    from minimized to normal window mode i can see how the gui build up,

    then its awhile ok. maybe a ms .net runtime problem?

    also sometimes in beta the new windows for selection are behind the editor.

  • my idea was to use a websocket server app for similar problem with image barcode reader.

    today i found also a free javascript version for ocr in web at google, but means u must make your c2 plugin self.

  • me tyring a webapp in the facebook canvas too, seems it only need a hosting with https url access.

    yesterday i got a app/game hosted at scirra arcade showing in the facebook canvas.

    but unfortunately the arcade export is disabled in current c2 beta.

    today i asked my provider for https at my webspace. else i need buy webhosting for ~ 6€ per month...

    also i found a "free" service for webspace with *. ssl certificate, they only want a fb link for the service.

  • i tryed some links from clay.io for testing at fb but it comes a error with post, maybe the game was not for facebook canvas.

    seems clay.io is temporary limites for new accounts.

    do you have a https: game link, exported from construct2 for using at fb?

    i want use/test it for web preview button there.

    i got new hope, i got start a game in facebook canvas hosted at scirra

    there was a link for embedded i used at facebook "Secure Canvas URL"

    its not my game, its just any game i picked for a test.

    i am new to construct and have less experience with publish at Facebook.

    my problem is my webspace is just a homepage without https / ssl certificate.

    i had upload my game to my webspace per ftp and at my website it looks good.

    at fb i can not get it into facebook canvas, it stay white

    i believe because i did not have https at all.

    my trick was trying a short url from google goo.gl with https link to my game.

    did someone know a easy solution to get a game into facebook canvas without extra costs?

    after export from construct2 is it ready for fb or do i need change the index.html page?

  • it is still persist, had update amd driver, closed all background task.

    resource monitor looks fine. no file access. disabled anti vir.

    edit: + i had also updates to latest beta.

    i believe the sin wave sprite moves smoother than the ball.

    i think c2 use java script come with the browser.

    does it stutter in your browser too?

    me using firefox,ie stutter more.

    its just a simple ball bouncing at walls.

    the ball movement it not smooth.

    i used the bullet behavior.
