  • Oh I appreciate the help!

LordShiva that thing is asking me to login for some reason D:

TonyW I appreciate the help, but I think it's my fault for forgetting to mention some things about my game.

The items in my game level up. So I'd rather not attach 200 variables to one sprite with all the item frames.

Or rather, I'm trying to find a way to pick up items with individual stats. Since you'll be able to level different things on them. So using the sprite-based system might be a bit too much?

Unless I'm unaware of a way to save specific item stats in different places.

EDIT: Also the inventory gets moved off-screen to hide it so it wouldn't take up screen space.

  • I have this inventory

I can pick up items in the game that get attached to the cursor.

When I drop the item on any of the slots, it disappears. I guess it doesn't get attached to that specific slot.

    This is the "code"

How would I go about making such inventory which lets me pick up any item and drop it on the inventory. Without needing to repeat it for every single item in the game?

  • It has those cracks through walls.

    How could I fix that?

  • Still shooting in straight line...

    EDIT: this one worked.

Thank you everyone for trying to help me!

  • If i just use angle instead of bullet angle, I get the same effect.

    However.

If I disable this, it seems to work properly.

But it's weird, because it's not the bullets, but the shotgun itself that is aimed at the mouse. So it should not effect the bullets?

  • Like this? It didn't work :/

    I'm testing Cosme's while I'm at it.

EDIT: Nope, this didn't work either...

  • Here's the "code".

Problem is, that my gun shoots in a line.

How do I make it spread?

  • Decreasing friction on should make it easier to move.

You can also use events to apply a force or impulse to the ball when it comes in contact with the player.

How would I go applying force? I tired looking around google and forums for some ideas, but seems like I couldn't come up on anything that could help me to that specific task...

  • I did that. But my character can barely push the ball.

Here is the character's Physics tab.

  • I am sure many here would gladly help you, but not much I can get from your description. What exactly do you mean with "blending together"?

I want to remove the white lines and gaps. So it would be perfectly black.

  • It just doesn't seem to go together. I am using the snap grid which is 32x32. My tiles are 64x64/128x128 but they don't seem to be blending together. I also cropped transparent edges too. So it shouldn't be an issue?

    Please help. D:

  • They just fall through the tiles. Even though they have solid modifier.

If I give them physics modifier with some settings, the balls just fall down. I tried also giving physics modifier to my character to move the balls but they don't seem to be moving at all. They're just static.
