Just want to say THANK YOU for consistent, well thought out, and performant updates.
When I started this engine I had a lot of timidity about performance (as a web developer it's my job to make things performant).
It's a JOY to learn about all the optimizations you have done. It really takes a lot off of my plate and allows me to focus on gameplay elements, especially as a new game developer.

Completely understood, no pressure or worries at all. I'm working on a simple system to takeover main mob movement, but using Boids on cluster groups under ~50 works fantastic. I appreciate your efforts thus far!
I'm building a giant mob system, can be close to 300 on screen at a time. Boids drastically slows the project down when more than 100 are moving. Any ideas on performance tweaks? Thanks!

Hello! I realize this post is 3 years old, but any chance you can let me know how to check every 3-6 ticks instead of every tick? Is that done using dt in "Every X Seconds" vs a built-in event to calculate actual ticks? Let me know, thanks!
