  • Hi there,

I see we can follow people and their posts, tutorials etc.. how can you contact someone directly...? How would you contact someone you are following because I think Iam missing smething..

    Thanks

  • Iam new to programming logic.. If you don't mind, I would appreciate talking to the community and you about programming and learning the logic of Construct. expressions, conditions and actions, understanding this logic is new, Iam use to just painting and animating 3D.. becoming a Vulcan is a new experience.. please forgive the noob status.. Not use to writing actions conditions or expressions and this is why Iam stuck..I can create the art all day long, applying the logic, not there yet..

    Hope you all are well.

  • Thank you for your response and help..

  • If you can find the time, I would like to chat with you about the demo.

I would even buy you a cup of coffee...

    Hope all is well..

  • Thank you very much for this... Dont understand it yet but I have played with it

and the placing of the points is really cool. This is a big help.

Are you a programmer as a job or is this a hobby?

I hope you dont mind, I will be picking your braing good sir!

    Many Thanks,

    Kosh

  • I would very much like to see the a demo of how this is used.. I read his instructions again and now I get it a litle. I must let you know that Iam a new programmer, and have a lot to learn. I just want to understand the logic of how this add on works and how to use it properly.. my noob status is not helping me..

Any chance you have that file (Sample capx) that was with the orginal rex add on? I wanted to use that to understand usage. also, are you on discord?

would be easier to chat if we could chat..

Thanks again, your help is much appreciated..

    Kosh

  • Thank you for the reply.. this helped, thank you.

However, has anyone used this and if so, I would like to chat or could someone

demonstrate this because the file that comes with rex's is no longer available..

    Thank againn..

  • Thank you for the response,

I made a mistake in my post, the add on I showed in my post was the old one I was mentioning that was replaced by the new one you shred with me, spline-movement-c3-runtime-1.1.0.0-stable.c3addon

I had already downloaded this one and was replacing the old one off of rex's site.

I was using his site for the documentation on how to use this add on and it falls way short of explaining.

This new one, made by Massive Cube, their website is not up and Iam trying to contact them through discord. either way, moving objects along a spline is what Iam trying to do. basically a path. any thoughts or suggestions would be nice.

    Hope all is well..

  • Hello all,

This is suppose to be the addon that allows you to creat paths for ojects to follow ported of from C2.. the rex_spline and here is his website...

    c2rexplugins.weebly.com/rex_spline.html

either way, I cannot for the life of me get this to work.. anyone ever use it and if so, can you help.. many thanks

  • newt and R0J0hound,

    Thank you both!

    So very much appreciated!

Thank you both for taking the time to help me on this..!

    Gonna be a busy week..

    Kosh!

  • Wow, this is great, thank you..

Now, can you explain it to me?

How did you know how to write this?

    the equations, etc..

Like line three in the event sheet..

Oh and yeah, the next part, drawing the line, qarp, all that.. is that JS coding?

    And math formulas? lines 4-7>

I know very little so Iam asking a lot of logic questions of

everyone.. finding out the thought process I need making games and doing expressions/code when needed, its just learning how to do that.. art is easy.. this.. has got my attention..

Is it possible to adjust the arc of the curve? round it more at the top?

    Thank you again, so much!
