Thanks for the info and quick response!
Out of personal interest, does the new Drawing Plugin run over the CPU or GPU?
(Generally curious how the performance gains have been achieved and why it is/could be better than the existing 3rd party plugins.)
Yes, would like to see this as well.
Great work, Construct 3 is really coming along nicely!
I'd like to do a full switch, if it wasn't for unsupported 3rd party addons. Not a lot of 3rd party addon Dev's seem to have the time or motivation to port their addons to the new c3 (and C2.5) runtime yet unfortunately. Judging based on the recently added features, wouldn't surprise me to see those 3rd party addon features as official features in the near future though.
That command line argument fetch for NW.js was unexpected. Really nice feature, thanks a lot for that!
I've made a demo project for testing Gamepad Vibration.
I'd appreciate if this could be included as a template in future C3 releases, if it meets the quality standard for C3 templates of course.
If not, guess people can check it out on their own by downloading and running it in C3 r115+: Gamepad Vibration Demo
Will the new C3 runtime switch go live soon?
Seems like tomorrow's Chrome M69 stable update will have the Offscreen Canvas/Service Worker features in it. I assume those are essential for the new runtime.
Also thanks for the gamepad features, those will come in handy especially for Desktop Game Dev's.

Really like the install app feature that Chrome is adding, wish they'd also allow some more advanced permissions with that (e.g. local file access). Would make PWAs feel even more like "real" native apps.
Amazing improvements for the C3 runtime, looking forward to more performance updates like these!
(Also nice to see that you make use of Community created projects for performance tests.👍)
Yep all Scirra.com, you've also sorted a lot of bugs out already. (I'm reporting all Construct.net stuff in github.)
Great to know about the move, do you guys have any approx. date for when this will happen? I'm sure with Phil on board, the whole process will be a lot easier and quicker right?
Nice, already had the pleasure of getting my website related bugs fixed by Phil. I hope this will speed up the developement of the Scirra Arcade and also speed up general website related bugfixes.
Here are some examples:

Cheers!
Does Chrome Canary support all of the mentioned experimental features or which browser(s) support these in general?
I'd be interested in doing some tests myself and don't want to run into problems because of the browser(s) I used.
They can't support it because Nintendo doesn't care about web-based games at the moment. Signing this petition could help getting their attention:

Nice, thanks for the giant update!
Audio: update to handle new audio autoplay restrictions in Chrome 66
AshleyIs this fix also required in C2 (backport soon?) or is it C3 Audio exclusive?
Great work, thanks for doing this!
I'm not sure if this template was meant to be used by C3 starters but if that's what you guys were aiming for, it's really not good to have everything inside a large single example. Starters would just be overwhelmed by this.
I would suggest splitting the project up into smaller templates so that starters can learn things better with an easy to advanced learning curve.
Something like this for example:
• RPG - Project Preparation Template
(How to start with a project, basics about folder structure and common systems [e.g. Saving system].)
• RPG - Basic Movement Template
(How to do movement events which support multiple methods of input and look/animate correctly.)
• RPG - Inventory Template
(How to setup a basic, modular inventory system.)
• RPG - Advanced Gameplay Template
(How to implement swordplay, firing bows etc.)
• RPG - Scripted Bossfight Template
(How to create an engaging and fun bossfight.)
