  • Yeah I get a black screen on that link too. Can you get a different/any project to run from Dropbox? I can only suggest stripping it all back and trying. Making sure its in a folder in the public folder on DB Looks like if you can get it to run there then FB wont be a problem. It was HTML5 website exported i take it?

  • Dropbox works if you set the game in the public folder. Just export it and copy the entire contents there and create the link. I think you have to be careful in how you add the link in the facebook developers section as that is a bit different from the tutorials from memory. Been a while since I have done it but it wasnt too hard to get going. needs the https link in the secure canvas URL mine looks like this : https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/577 ... index.html?

  • volcank Cool, yeah fingers crossed.

  • BinaryPanda ok for me the build never works at the first attempt! At first build it fails, I close the build tab and try to rebuild again and it works!! weird!

How long did it take for the warnings to dissappear in your Google Pla developer account?? Cause one of my updated game still has the yellow warning sign.

volcank took a while to update. Think the times can vary. Google says 5 hours atleast

  • I ran the CYGWIN 64bit install download since my operating system is win7 64bit and just used the default install options that come up. Nothing else, it really was that simple.

The build could be failing for reasons unrelated, so I would check everything over carefully to make sure it is correct.

  • Try the OpenSSL update, and then re build. There is nothing to loose and as I have found after the 5 hours wait time from submitting in the Google play developer console, the alerts have gone away.

  • I have no idea how the Intel XDK is working, but it maybe using files on your computer to assist in the build, so updating those helps. It maybe that when Intel XDK is updated this has the same effect as updating now with the links I have used.

It maybe none of the above and it might all be magic, but I suggest updating and trying to see if it works for you as it has resolved the issues for me. If this changes to being broken again in the future I will let you know.

Either way looks like it will be fixed if Intel are working on it too.

Oh and you dont need to use Cygwin I just installed that way which gave me the OpenSSL update. You can use the other link

  • If you update the OpenSSL this fixes the problem. The errors have gone away for me after I then re built my apps

I updated here: http://cygwin.com/install.html but you can install without cygwin: http://slproweb.com/products/Win32OpenSSL.html

  • And it is back to not working

  • armaldio - Thanks for the grid-snapping technique. Do you know the painting technique?

  • well i am getting it on an app both with and without a plugin.
