Yeah, I've updated Chrome and everything's fine now in Chrome too. Wow, I'm quite surprised that the problem was somehow to do with an older version of Chrome.

Again, thank you for your help! I was about to give up on this...

I was too using Chrome.

However, I have now tried my project in Firefox and I no longer have this problem. Strange... I guess, I will try to re-install Chrome and see what happens.

I'm trying to jump from this spot, but unable to do so.

I enclose a screenshot of this, it seems that the hero sprite is floating one pixel above the ground for some reason. Please kindly have a look.

Hi guys!

I would really appreciate your help.

So I am learning to build a platformer game. I've created a purple background for my game and now I can't jump from a certain spot in the game. For the life of me I can't understand why this happens. Could someone please help?

To reproduce the bug, please start the game and jump up to the right. Now here you're unable to jump from this spot...

If I remove the purple background, everything works fine. Why is that? Obviously, I do want to keep the purple background.
