  • I've tested it two days ago too, and webstorage data were lost after the update...

    I'll try again tomorrow...

Tested, and it worked fine. Webstorage data are still there.

This time I've set the Crosswalk Version to "beta" insted of specify "10". It should be the same but, anyway, double check the Build Log: Crosswalk Version 10.39.235.15 is the fixed one.

I also did a test export with Crosswalk 10, but my webstorate stayed. So no errors regarding that on my end.

    When did you build it?

  • There is a new Crosswalk 10 beta that has the fix, but it is NOT in the Intel® XDK build system yet. We are testing it this week.

    Any update about this?

  • Good! Thanks!

You also can set the Crosswalk Build Version from 'stable' to '10'.

    Then it works too <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_wink.gif" alt=";)" title="Wink">

    See here: http://shatter-box.com/knowledgebase/fix-openssl-issue/

    Does it affect WebStorage data?

  • If you update the OpenSSL this fixes the problem. The errors have gone away for me after I then re built my apps

I updated here: http://cygwin.com/install.html but you can install without cygwin: http://slproweb.com/products/Win32OpenSSL.html

    It worked here too. Thanks! <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_wink.gif" alt=";)" title="Wink">

  • I don't think Google is taking any action soon, but it's just my guess.

I'm pretty new to Google Play so I'm not in the postion to give good advice about this, sorry ^_^'

  • We got an answer form the Intel team:

This warning from Google Play pertains to the App Security API plugin which includes the older OpenSSL library. This plugin is being updated and will be available in the next Intel XDK release after the first of the year. In the meantime, you shouldn’t need to worry about the security as the plugin does not actually use the vulnerable part of the Open SSL code. So, you should be prepared to update your app when we get the plugin updated.

  • There's another thread about this: google-play-security-alert_t121002

...and it looks like AdMob plug-in isn't the problem.

Might be Intel XDK itself... I found this: https://software.intel.com/en-us/forums/topic/537301

So maybe IntelRobert can give us an idea about what's going on and what to do to fix it? crosswalk-intel-xdk-experiences_t101139?start=810

  • Hi there. Just want to share my first creation with Construct2, published on Google Play!

I needed something simple to learn how to use Construct2 and I thought this could be a good start.

    So...

    ...what is Evolution Test?

Well, basically a test about eidetic memory. It was first conceived as a test for chimpanzees and the result of the research was that they are actually better than us humans at this (take a look at

    and

). It's not the first mobile game based on the same test, but in Evolution Test you're also guided through the learning process of numerals, just like the apes. It could be unpopular, but I wanted it to be as close as possible to the original test, even in the visual aspect.

Google Play Services (Leaderboards & Achievements) are supported.

Let me know what you think! Thanks for your time! <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile">
