  • thats literally it. on layout changes, the mouse controls sometimes stop.. sometimes left click, sometimes right, sometimes both. predominantly when you leave the game over screen to quickly but other times its fine. there shouldnt be any problems with code ive double checked 408230 twice and its not like theres a chance for a variable to stpo mouse controls cos if there was it wouldnt be a chance, it would be when you program it.

    BossHP less or equal to 70 - Create Object (Projectile) at Image point 0.

    only questions are how would i do this since i cant do greater than or equal + lesser than or equal since that would make the boss do this attack forever and cant be equal since some weapons do more than others. maybe i will make a timer to make the boss do certain things at certain moments.

    sorry for being an inconvenience, but also how would i make it so that it stops chasing, since i believe bullet behaviour will always chase. maybe i can use a move to behaviour

  • so for the final boss of my game i am hoping to make both projectiles, blast attacks and regular sword swipes. (this is a top down game btw, a top down shooter)

    i know how to do the projectiles and blast attacks, but the thing is what i would like is for the boss to sometimes chase the player, then stop and shoot some projectiles, then chase again.

    also, what would be nice (but entirely optional) is to sometimes have it so the boss slowly walks towards the player, then rapidly dash towards. another thing that i am hoping for is that if you are near the boss too long it will an aoe blast attack.

    any ideas on one of these, or maybe even if you know more than one please let me know!

  • actually, have just encountered one where both left and right dont work. this often happens from when i leave my game over screen to go to the level and even more commonly when i leave game over screen too quickly. although, this doesnt happen every time that happens. only every now and then

  • just wondering because when entering the shop in my game, it moves to a new layout and upon leaving the shop it resets my variables due to a script i created

    its basically this

    Upon Health Created, set Souls to 0, set Health to 300, set Damage to 100 etc.

    just wondering i such a thing as persistent variable is possible

  • I don't know why but every now and then my right click (which in my game is to use a sword) doesnt work upon entering a layout. i have checked everything, has this happened to anyone else?

  • so in my game i have a shop, which is a different layout, and you press s to enter and space to leave. however, i also have multiple levels and you can access shop in all of them. there is no option to go back to the layout you were in, the option Next/Previous Layout takes you to the layout before that one, so... like this

    Level1, Level1Sheet, Level2Sheet,Level3,Level2,Shop

    lets say you were in level 3 and you hit s to go shop. when you press space to leave it goes to the PREVIOUS layout, which in this case is Level2.

    that is the problem i have here. any ideas on what to do?

  • basically in my shop you can buy swords, guns etc. then they go to equip screen and you can equip there. i have an idea of what to do but any ideas could be needed thanks. also, the main problem is that there are multiple levels in my game. lets call them Level 1, Level 2 etc. when you go to the equip screen it changes layout and pressing space leaves the equip screen. however, you need to go back to your Level, since whats the point of going back a level after equipping a sword. but there is no option to do that, there is an option to go to specific layout, go to next layout but none for what i need

    any ideas thanks?

  • So basically I have a shop where you can buy different weapons, then you can go to the equip screen and equip them. I know that I will need to make a variable for each of the available weapons so that they appear in the equip screen, but is there an easier way?

    This is the only way I can think of right now

    System:Compare Variable, (Weaponname)= 1 System: Create object (Weapon) at x,y
