  • Publishers can definitely help you get exposure. Unless you want to go the usual hope I get lucky route, landing a publisher is what you want. Make sure to look at the publishers game list to see if they can generate downloads.

    After that ask them

    1) How much is their cut?

    2)Can you talk to other developers who used their services?

    3) Will they be active in promoting your game and what is your role in marketing?

  • I brought and used Construct 2 but since my computer is down, I have to use a computer with windows 7. Construct 2 will not display images properly even after I updated graphic drivers.

    So now I have to code my game and I know enough to make the type of game Iam doing. The problem is I looked online and cannot find a proper autoscale code that works the same way Construct 2 autoscale works. Is there anyone who knows a proper HTML autoscale code? Even Mozilla code does not work for games just websites. Thanks in advance!!

  • Excellent work on googleplay but it shows 1 million plus so I can only add it to the main topic with that number. You did an amazinbg job making a simple but really fun game.

  • Any plans on a mobile port to android? Even if its not the same game but even just a runner with these excellent graphics would be a treat.

  • I took a year off of game development to take care of other stuff and now I want to jump back in. I downloaded the r259 and it does not work everytime I load an image it will not show in the editor (using windows 7 , my main computer with windows 10 broke).

    I plan on just coding the game by hand with Html,css and javascript maybe using Jquery framework if its a larger project. But the only issue I have is I do not know how to autoscale the way Construct 2 does so I need the autoscaling code you use. Thanks in advance!!

  • Hello First of all your work is incredible and thank you for it. Second I tried to local storage an array but I failed. I used scirra level select example and I can;t find a way to save the level select. It saves the current level but not the sprite that it should. Do you think you can help me with this ?

    Honestly I never used arrays so I couldn't help you with that but in my example it stores both the level and the level animation.

  • It really depends on how much users actively use your app. Downloads don't matter as much as user activity. If its an app that the user will open everyday, you will earn decent revenue. If its an app that users don't use often then revenue will be low.

    Also do the app yourself or risk getting your idea stolen. Put in the time to learn Construct 2 which is an easy tool to use.
