If you have purchased the Professional Level of Scirra Games, then you might want to add the Advertisement Banner to your projects. This is done in Visual Studio 2012 running on a Windows 8 Machine. (If you are a STEM student in many countries you can get a free copy of Windows 8 through DreamSpark Premium, which is different then the DreamSpark version for all students.)

Get started at:

Windows 8 Ad SDK

You can other ad banners as well.

So the process is this:

1. Create your Scirra game

2. Export to Windows 8

3. Open in Visual Studio 2012 running on Windows 8

4. Make the modifications as described in the link above

This kind of stinks as a tutorial since it just points you to another article, but your app is going to be slightly different then mine. The MSDN Article is written for the general developer.

If you use ads in your app, make sure to purchase the Scirra Professional Version per the EULA. I have and find that it is worth it.
